Custom Profile is the leading North American supplier of printed co-extruded Burette Chambers from Cellulose Acetate Propionate (CAP). These clear precision extruded burette chambers are included with IV sets for accurate dispensing of IV solutions to a patient. Cellulose Acetate Propionate (CAP) is a bio based plastic derived from renewable resources and is known for its clarity, toughness, and chemical resistance, making it a great candidate for demanding medical device applications. These tubes are produced and packaged in a ISO certified Class 8 clean room. Custom lengths and diameters are available.
Unique capabilities include the high-speed extrusion of Bimodal High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) tubing that can be used as a replacement for cross-linked HDPE (PEX) in cold temperature applications. Operating at higher rates increases our plant capacity and decreases the cost of the tubing. Custom Profile’s groove-feed extrusion technology enables the high speed extrusion (>500 ft/min) of Bimodal HDPE tubing at low discharge temperatures resulting in tubing with exceptional low-temperature performance for refrigeration applications that require high stress-crack resistance, high tensile strength, and high pressure ratings. In-line, high resolution ink jet printing capabilities include printing logos, barcodes, production information, and batch codes directly onto tubing.
Custom Profile is a leading manufacturer of custom heat formed tubing. Out extruded tubing can be formed into complex shapes with multiple bends in different planes while maintaining the original cross-section of the tubing. Straight and formed tubing can include over-molded connections.
